21 Day VICTORY Fast | DAY 9

Good morning, dear friends! Today is day nine as we have entered a very special time of consecration and humility and we open the door to a deeper, more intimate and more powerful relationship with our Father!
Bren and I are blessed that you have chosen to participate in the VICTORY FAST by setting aside 21
days to pray, fast and draw near to God. Fasting is not just an exercise for super-spiritual people. It is actually supposed to a part of every believer's personal and private spiritual life. Personally, we have found there is no better way to reset our spiritual compass and bring about change and discipline in every area of our lives than through fasting.
We pray that you will experience the presence and power of God in an extraordinary way as you commit yourself to Him over the next 21 days. May God continue to bless you and ignite your passion for Him as you seek Him first!
For these 21 days together, I will provide a daily biblical focus and some thoughts to encourage and strengthen you throughout the fast.
FASTING: GENERATIONAL BLESSING
Day 9
Psalm 71:17&18 "O God, You have taught me from my youth; And to this day I declare Your wondrous works. Now also when I am old and gray headed, O God, do not forsake me, Until I declare Your strength to this generation, Your power to everyone who is to come."
23 Years ago, The Holy Spirit branded this revelation deep into my heart — living, thinking and investing generationally.
David carried this burden and vision not only for his present day but also for generations that were yet to come. As you fast, I pray the Lord will allow you to freshly apprehend the importance of breakthrough in every area for your children and grandchildren. One of the things that my wife and I consistently prayed is that our children will walk all the days of their lives in the abundant blessing and favor of the Lord. We pray over their future, quality life-giving relationships and friends, for mentors and other spiritual fathers and mothers to help equip them, creative ideas for wealth and prosperity and that they live in divine health. We presently have a 20 year old and a 19 year old — and we pray all the time that they marry the right spouse — receiving the blessing of lifelong covenant in love and joy.
Let me encourage you during this fast to intercede for a generational blessing and heritage to flow like a mighty river through your family. May this fast be the key breakthrough that launches our children and children's children into unprecedented victories for those who are yet to come. Amen!
